Tips

  1. To prevent animals from entering your property add a tight-fitting screen to all foundation and attic vents.
  2. Add thick weatherstripping on the bottom of all your doors.
  3. Do not let pet food sit out overnight.
  4. Watch to see if wasps are flying into and away from a single point in the garden or to a hole in the side of the property; this usually indicates a colony.
  5. Be sure that all holes and cracks are sealed.
  6. Firewood should be located off the ground and as far from the house as possible. Consider covering it with tarp or plastic.
  7. Do not let piles of leaves build up next to the home's foundation.
